The World Summit will be hosted by the World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery (WSPCHS), the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association (ECHSA) and the Congenital Heart Surgeons’ Society (CHSS). 

We also warmly welcome the participation of the Italian Society of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiology (SICP), African Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery (ASPCHS), Asian Association for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery (AAPCHS), Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology (AEPC), Latin American Association of Cardiac and Endovascular Surgery (LACES), and the Sociedad Latina de Cardiología y Cirugía Cardiovascular Pediátrica.

For the first time ever, the World Summit for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery will be held in Bologna, Italy on June 5 – 8, 2024 and it will be hosted by the World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery (WSPCHS), the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association (ECHSA) and the Congenital Heart Surgeons’ Society (CHSS).

The World Summit will include the participation of the Italian Society of Pediatric Cardiology (SICP), the Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology (AEPC), the African Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery, the Asian Association for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery and the Sociedad Latina de Cardiología y Cirugía Cardiovascular Pediátrica.

We expect to bring together more than 500 delegates, representing the leading experts in the field from all over the world!

Guidelines for Bids to Host Scientific Meeting

We are currently scheduled out to 2020. Please come back again when bids will be open for the 2022 8th Scientific Meeting.

Bids start with a local member putting his or her name to be the local host and programme chair. Without local support from a World Society member, no bid will be considered. For this reason, we do not accept expressions of interest from local convention bureaus.
