The World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery is holding its Fourth Scientific Meeting on July 17-20 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The World Society Program Committee is working hard to organize an exciting program. There will be a comprehensive Postgraduate Course on the topic of "Left Heart Obstructions". In addition there will be multiple oral presentations of the best abstracts submitted. The rest of the selected abstracts will be presented as posters. The "Stella Van Praagh Lecture" will be delivered by Vera D. Aiello of Brazil and the "Aldo R.C. Castañeda Lecture" will be given by Constantine Mavroudis of the United States. Additionally, this meeting will see the establishment of a new lecture on Innovations that will be delivered by Adib Jatene of Brazil. During the 4th Scientific Meeting the attendees will be presented detailed information on how to participate in the soon to be established World Society Global Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery Database. The Meeting will also feature a Joint Scientific Session with Sociedad Latina de Cardiología y Cirurgía Cardiovascular Pediátrica.
