The Third Joint Meeting of the CHSS and the ECHSA was held on September 13-15 in Chicago, Illinois. It follows two previous joint meetings. The first one took place in Montreal in 2004, hosted by Dr. Tchervenkov. The second one was in Warsaw and was hosted by Dr. Maruszewski. The bar was left very high by both of these meetings.
We live in an era of virtual communication, which unquestionably facilitate the development and learning of science. Nevertheless, we cannot replace the critical value of direct human contact between generations, schools, groups and individuals, especially in a science like medicine, which attempts to comprehensively assess human health.
