Dr. Kreutzer studied at the University of Buenos Aires. After completing his surgical training he took a position at the Ricardo Gutierrez Children's Hospital in Buenos Aires. He held many leadership positions at Ricardo Gutierrez until his retirement as Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr Kreutzer was a pioneer in developing surgical treatment for the child with a single ventricle.
